Ann Landis, RN, BSN has agreed to
volunteer her time as our
church's Congregational Nurse
and Director of HealthCare
Ministries.
She also assists the Pastor
in visiting ill members, whether
at home, in the hospital, or in
one of the area’s care
facilities. Ann conducts a
blood F-R-E-E pressure
screening from 9:30 am - 10:30am
for our members on the third
Sunday of each month during the
Sunday school hour in Room 204.

The
goal of Congregational Nursing
is to help individuals stay
well, and to create a feeling of
deeper caring throughout the
community.
Mathews United Methodist
Church is in partnership with
Self Regional Healthcare to
provide this ministry to our
church and outreach into the
community.
A sister church, St. Mark
UMC has been instrumental in
helping with the funding, as
well.

The Congregational Nurse
recognizes the wholeness and
uniqueness of each individual.
As that person, She is
committed to encompassing the
wholeness of each person, each
family, and the community at
large.
Many different ways to
minister to others present
themselves as we worship and
fellowship together.
